Would you like to join our fledgling Scribblers group?
When one of our members launched the idea of a writing group, some of us decided to meet for a trial run to see what this intriguing new activity involved! We enjoyed the experience so much that we wanted everyone to have the opportunity to join this group, so our next meeting will be held on Monday, 4 April, 2 pm- 4 pm in the RBL Clubroom.
To begin with, someone suggests a theme, and we all go off to write in our own corner for an hour. In the second hour we read and discuss one another's work. The rules are simple: only positive comments are allowed, unless the writer requests constructive criticism and suggestions.
No writing experience is needed, and no homework is involved (but tea and biscuits are!). All you need is whatever you like to write on/with (techy or paper).
So if there are other potential Scribblers out there who would like to come and give it a go, please contact our membership secretary (contact details in the newsletter) who will put you in touch with the group leader.
