Walk in the 14th District

Join us on a leisurely walk around the Denfert-Rochereau district as one of our members, Deborah, takes us on a tour of this famous area adjacent to Montparnasse. This is a repeat of the walk that Deborah organised for our members in the summer when it was unfortunately a bit too hot to walk very far.

Featuring many interesting buildings, museums and institutions, the area has proved a popular place for many artists, writers and film-makers to live and work.  Find out where Agnes Varda and Simone de Beauvoir lived before we visit them in Montparnasse Cemetery at the end of the walk.
